The Sparrow is one of our symbols for Resilience because it is a pictorial representation of its homophone "Spero", Latin for hope. Hope is what lets us overcome, what inspires us to move through adversity. Joined in a triskele of three interlocking shapes, the sparrows symbolize expanding hope, the window to what can be. One of the world's oldest symbols, the triskele captures the mental and spiritual growth that is composed of three joined parts, curving outward. Here, the sparrows are arranged in a way that looks like they are expanding outward, denoting growth, the creation of energy, a limitless expansion of hope.
