The three butterflies together represent the three winged souls of inspiration: Mneme (memory), Aiode (music), and Melete. Melete is harder to define. If you look up the ancient Greek word you'll see many translations: practice/occasion/dance/ritual. Our interpretation of Melete is that it is the âthingâ that gets you into the flow where time has no end and anything is possible. Together, those three winged souls of inspiration incite you to daydream, to create, and to celebrate.
This Limited Edition medallion design was inspired by intricately carved decorative screens. The butterflies and blossoms are placed over a turquoise surface, so that the stone shows through the etched-out parts of the latticework.
Here, it is paired with the Medium Sleek Collar and four Heart Beats: two each in yellow gold and white gold with pavé diamonds.
To create the elegantly flexible shape of the Sleek Collar, master artisans wrap individual metal plates around an inner mesh core and attach each link closely together, so the necklace moves fluidly and molds beautifully around the neck. The skilled construction is reminiscent of an Omega chain with its seamless joining, but this form is more rounded, and can hold significant weight without losing its shape.
The medallion is attached to the collar with a prong-set diamond annex link, a beautiful connector that lends itself to versatile styling. You can easily slip the medallion on or off the necklace.

Due to its porosity, it should not be exposed to harsh chemicals, cosmetics, or oils, which can cause discoloration over time. For regular care, wipe the turquoise with a soft, clean cloth from time to time.
When storing turquoise jewelry, the piece should be kept in a soft cotton pouch or lined jewelry box to prevent it from being scratched by other pieces.
Turquoise should not be worn during physical activities, cooking, or cleaning. It can fracture if impacted.
When cleaning turquoise, it should be wiped with mild soap and water on a damp cloth and wiped dry immediately. Turquoise should not be soaked, and it should not be cleaned with an ultrasonic steamer.
